Not to forget that the premise of the event was to display and showcase 20+ new styles from Savini Wheels, the plethora of beautiful women might have been a slight distraction.

The complete takeover of Rumor Boutique Hotel, in Las Vegas, NV, was just the foundation for this exhilarating evening. Ferrari 458 Italia–Savini SV-37 wheels

It was not easy making an iconic Italian machine better, but we think we successfully pulled it off!

We successful managed to "Butlerize" this Ferrari 458 Italia while still being able to maintain it's beautiful Italian style.

First things first: Wheels. We chose Savini Wheels as we felt that a set of their SV37s rims complemented this Ferrari 458 perfectly without overpowering it. After all, this bad boy still needs to be the star of the show.

The Savini SV37s is a multi-spoke wheel that took to paint beautifully using original Ferrari paint on the faces - to match the 458's exterior. Next we painted the outer lips and part of the spokes white to really make the Carbon Fiber features stand out. This car doesn't look big going down the road but the front fenders swallowed a pair of 21x9 inch rims with 255.30.21 Pirelli Nero tires like nobody's business. Out back a pair of 22x11.5 inch rims wrapped in 315.25.22 Pirelli Nero tires gets that crazy power to the asphalt. That's some pretty serious rubber - a 315 sized Pirelli measures almost 12.5 inches across!!!

As far as performance goes, what else can you do to this already amazing piece of machinery? We decided to add the Capristo 458 Italia Valved Exhaust System. This system is extremely lightweight, adds to the vehicles' horsepower, and has a much deeper sound than the factory system. As an added bonus this particular system comes with a remote that activates the 458's built in exhaust valves. This is something that is normally handled automatically by the vehicle's computer once the exhaust has reached operating temperature but now we have total control over the tone and sound of the exhaust. By using the remote control we can make the exhaust louder and deeper on command, or keep it subdued and mellow.

Putting this all together was really a challenge and we hope you agree with us that this Ferrari 458 is definitely "What's Hot"!

“While I was there I got the chance to shoot Nick’s 2006 Dodge Charger R/T aka “Monster Energy Charger”. This beast sounds as mean as it looks. The color combo is excellent and is greatly matched to the Monster Energy Black and Neon Green. The car looks amazing with the Green LED Halos he got from BFXenon.com and since the rolling shots with them on didn’t come out so good it looks like I will be heading down again for a another visit because I need those rolling shots.

The Charger is lowered on a Hotchkis lowering kit and riding on 22 inch Savini Forged SV-23c Xtreme Concave wheels( painted matte black and neon green). From the cars aggressive SSE Viper Hood to its beastly custom exhaust this charger has earned the name “Monster Energy Charger” because like the the Monster Energy Drink slogan, when you get into the drivers seat it will “Unleash the Beast” in you.
It was a great time and I want to thank Nick and all the guys at Savini Forged for letting me stop by and check out the facility.

2011 Convertible Camaor by Hennessey Performance

Upgrading, refining and changing American muscle cars are the main activities of Texan tuner Hennessey Performance. Their most recent project is based on the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible SS, named HPE600 Camaro Convertible.

The package comes with an extra 172hp, briniging the total to 602 horses. Hennessey says that the topless Camaro will hit the 100km/h barrier in just 3.9 seconds and that it can do a quarter mile run in 12 seconds flat at 118mph (189km/h).

The company’s wrenches also turned their attention toward the vehicle’s suspension, and buyers who opt for the muscle-bound drop top can expect to find a KW adjustable coil-over suspension and wider 20 inch Savini wheels sitting on Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

"Mike called me just before Christmas gloating about his new purchase. A 2011 Cadillac CTS. Black on black. But the gloating soon turned to begging. Well, maybe not begging, but a rather strong request. “I gotta get new wheels, can you help me?”

Mike was about as excited as I’ve ever seen anyone over a new car right up to the point where his stock wheels sucked. They were 17? silver and horribly boring. They actually did the car a disservice.

The next day we walked out to the parking lot and assessed the car. This sucker needed to a new set of wheels, badly, and they needed to be black.

My first call was to Savini Forged, who has an incredible line-up up of high-end wheels, custom-made in-house. Shawn, Savini’s Marketing Director shot me a couple of renderings of Mike’s car featuring a few different styles. Mike made his choice and was quickly on his way ridding his new whip of the sorry stockers. The Midnight Run 10/10/10 was put on to encourage exotic car owners and true auto enthusiasts to get out and drive! Starting off at Club 8Eighty8 in Newport beach, the Midnight Run departed around 11:30pm and headed to The Kress in Hollywood. We had approximately 15 cars make the run and another 15-20 meet at The Kress. We arrived at around 12:30am and pulled right in to our VIP parking spots. Fabspeed Motorsports manufactures high performance exhaust systems for exotic automobiles such as Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, Maserati, Mercedes Benz and BMW. Founded in 1992 by Joseph Fabiani out of Ambler, Pennyslvania, their mission is to provide customers with quality performance products, competitive pricing and unparalleled service. Fabspeed is compromised of automotive artists; people that eat, sleep, and dream engineering, g-force, horsepower and style.

Fabspeed, being no stranger to tuning high performance exotics, was pleased to get the call from Jason Kable from “The Fleet Wholesale” in Baltimore, MD, on partnering together on this build. The owner purchased the car from Mr. Kable “sight unseen” with intentions of completely transforming this car into what it is today without even seeing the car until it was delivered to him. The Bentley has a 6.0 Liter, double-vee 12 cylinder engine with twin turbos crammed under the bonnet. It produces 551 bhp at 6100 rpm and 480 ft/lb of torque at 1600 rpm at the crank.

While the car was at The Fleet in Baltimore, it was completely stripped of its original paint and received a new paintjob with the addition of the flat black hood, roof, trunklid and also blacked out trim accents and lights to give it that “murdered out” look. A set of Savini SV 08 22 inch wheels with a carbon fiber lip were custom built specifically for this Continental. An aftermarket RENNTECH digital lowering module was installed which allows owners to set the car 50 mm below the stock setting, with 8 levels of adjustability. The Bentley resembles liquid midnight when you see it roll by, like its own black hole absorbing light and sound as it travels past you.

From Baltimore, the car was shipped to Fabspeed Headquarters in Ambler, to undergo the performance upgrades. Priority order of business was for Jeremy D’Avella, General Manager/Performance Specialist to map out Fabspeeds plan of attack for the Bentley CGT. First the car was strapped down to Fabspeeds AWD DynoJet 434XLC2 to test baseline horsepower and torque. Fabspeed has the ability to monitor and log many different parameters of the cars computer system with Dynojet’s sophisticated data-logging software.

We asked D’Avella to describe Fabspeed’s tuning Methodology.
“Vehicle manufacturers typically tune conservatively. Fabspeed/PES precisely adjusts the ECU maps that affect parameters such as fuel, timing, boost pressure and throttle response. Part-throttle fueling and timing are optimized to deliver better highway fuel economy, as well as smoothness. The result is a car with better drivability and more performance. Important engine data such as air-fuel ratios, cylinder knock activity, EGT’S are carefully monitored during testing. We always encourage the customer to consider our complete performance package for balanced, reliable performance.”
In stock form this Bentley put down 412hp and 445 ft/lb torque measured to all four wheels. Now it was time to install the Fabspeed 80mm downtube/secondary catbypass package which replaces the OEM secondary catalytic converters and resonators. Along with the removal of the catalytic converters, Fabspeed utilizes an H-Pipe to improve mid-range torque and exhaust balancing. These performance products will bolt directly up to the stock muffler system which in fact is a straight through design when the Pierburg valves are open. With the performance products and custom ECU upgrade installed, overall power was tested at 512WHP/738 ft-lbs of wheel torque, or 691BHP/996 ft-lbs of torque to the crank. That’s pretty impressive for just bolt on exhaust products and a custom ECU upgrade, but then again that’s just tuning and that’s just what Fabspeed does.

This past weekend we hit up the Playboy Mansion along with Heavy Hitters Magazine but before the charity function we decided to bring out a few cars including the Liberty Walk Buggy. Yeah I know…the little buggy looks ridiculous on the back of this flatbed but it sure did turn heads. Here’s a car that looks like it’s well on the way to being sorted out – Robbie Nishida’s Dynamic Autosports R35 GTR! I know that Robbie has been struggling with the car quite a bit, as the R35 GTR is much heavier and much larger than the Z33 350Z he was driving last year… however the same exact engine setup lies under the hood. Eddie Kim and the awesome crew from Dynamic have pulled out the R35’s stock engine for rebuilding, so they decided to put the 350Z engine in the GTR temporarily. It seems to be doing fine… just look at the photo! It’s apparently making big smoke! However, just wait until the Dynamic crew from Lakeforest CA is finished with the GTR engine! Can’t wait!

The GTR is a very difficult vehicle to put on wheels, since the Nissan engineers designed the car with very particular specifications. Stock wheel size is 20” and in order to compensate for the large 15” calipers we need to run a minimum of 19” wheels. With special sizing needed for this application, Hankook brings to the plate their world famous RS-3 tires, rear size 305/30ZR19.

For this application we needed custom offsets in order to accomplish the maximum width and we needed lightweight forged wheels.

Savini has really brought the best product to the plate. These wheels are the prototypes that were custom machined from those futuristic things we put up on the blog a week or so ago. The real deal will be here in 2 weeks.
